Greetings and Salutations!
Welcome to Media TL;DR the series where I break down my greatest projects so you can easily dive in and understand my original ideas. I'm your host Jaydon Smith! And Today's topic is actually going to be a bit more relaxed. I will be talking about my previous editing experiences!
Fun Organization
I would call myself s pretty organized person. So whenever I have anything on my phone, I make sure it's named then put in a folder that aligns with it's content. However I have specific prerequisites for any content in my phone. It must be child-friendly and not contain any profanity. Unfortunately lots of content nowadays has such immaturities. So it's up to me to go and fix them all!
For images I download for the text, like Twitter or Reddit posts, I can easily go and object erase the naughty word, then hop onto Ibis Paint to lasso the rest of the text and move it closer, filling in the awkward gap with the erased word.
For pictures with an image, it is a bit harder since the text may be in front of the image which I would like to keep. Typically Object Eraser can deal some of it, but sometimes it affects the background too much; adding weird smudges and colors.
Capcut & Videos
Editing videos are a bit different though, as there are a lot more components in a video when compared to an image. Not only could there be texts and watermarks, but now the text can change mid video, and then there may be audio, which may contain words I don't want. In most cases, I see editing the video as not worth it and just move on, but sometimes the video is just too good or funny, and I need to have it on my phone. So I download the video and get working. But there are a lot of things that act as variables in this, soo, this blog will end on a cliff hanger! You'll have to check in at another time! Sorry!
That's All!
That's it for this Production Blog everyone! I hope you guys understand my past experiences, and sorry about the cliffhanger! Thank you for reading! And until next time, stay cool and attractive.
