Twitch Chat (Apple_Santa8):
How does your project challenge conventions and represent social groups?
Streamer:
Great question, Apple_Santa8! Our project challenges conventions in a couple of ways. Firstly, we decided to steer clear of typical sci-fi elements like robots. Instead, we opted to convey our tech-centric theme through text, fonts, and visual effects. Additionally, most movies have high polished props and settings, but because we did not want to get in trouble with the Big Dogs at Calvary… the administration. We settled for just using some black curtains and the tech booth there. So in terms of challenging typical conventions, I think we ate. We also wanted to shed light on the vulnerability of the average online user and the importance of cybersecurity. By doing so, we hoped to represent not just a social group, but a widespread issue that affects us all in the digital age. And you know, we didn't stop there; we even used and played with conventions by using dark colors to set the mood, since most thrilling films use dark settings and low-light areas. We decided that the Black Box’s dark atmosphere was perfect for it! And in addition to that, we incorporated diegetic sound to enhance the realism of our project, so that it will be more conventional and similar to real films.
Twitch Chat (Pei-Yung126):
How does your production engage with audiences, and what's your distribution strategy?
Streamer:
Ah, Pei-Yung126, diving straight into the big questions with a $10 donation! Engaging with our audience was crucial for us. We wanted to surprise them, so instead of going with the typical edgy hacker background, we flipped the script and went for something unexpected—a cute cat background! A decision made by the Digital Phantom himself, of course. Well, we also filmed everything in 1080p to ensure the highest quality and make those smaller details pop. The final last-minute decision made by me was that we decided to change the text in this scene (Types on computer) It should be up right now [edit in Japanese voice scene] from Chinese to Japanese, for two reasons: People nowadays, including myself are more interested in Japanese culture, especially compared to Chinese. So we wanted the Digital Phantom hack attack to be mysterious, so we opted for a foreign language. And we wanted our audience to be as confused as Zephyra, played by Miss Vettorazzi, bless her soul for we didn’t record this together, so we didn’t add in any subtitles, to keep the audience as confused as the characters. As for distribution, we've got some exciting plans in the works. We're looking at online streaming services as our primary distribution platform, but we're also planning a premiere event to generate some buzz. And let's not forget about our social media campaigns; we'll be leveraging those heavily to spread the word. Oh, and did I mention we'll have some awesome merch available too? Plushes of our characters and even the phantom mask! Which unfortunately, the original is with one of our actors currently.
Twitch Chat (Edgeworth_Fan04):
How did your production skills develop throughout this project, and what technologies did you integrate?
Streamer:
Edgeworth_Fan34, you're hitting the nail on the head with these questions! Thanks for the Donation! Throughout this project, my skills definitely got a workout. From a rough first day that forced me to level up my time management skills to quickly learning the ins and outs of OBS for sound effects and keybinds, it's been quite the journey. Let’s talk about that for a minute, you were there Sebas-chan, and Abrue absolutely chewed us out. On my blog I put the perfect anime interpretation of her scolding Sir Juan and I.
Ok back to the question, you also wanted to know about our technology? Alright let me tell you, we used a whole arsenal of tools. Blogger and ClickUp kept us organized, especially with production details; that was a must-have. Adobe After Effects added that extra flair to our vocals, though we were originally planning to use Audacity. We changed cause Sir Juan’s Phone recorded audio better than our laptop. Adobe Premiere Pro allowed us to polish everything to perfection, since lighting was a huge problem. Oh, and let's not forget about OBS for live projections, such as the movie scene, and Sir Juan’s trusty iPhone 13 BMD for shooting. And wait, there was Figma too! That’s how we got all our custom apps, like the QR code scanner, and the website for the Tech Store. It was really a team effort, and each piece of tech played a crucial role in bringing our vision to life.
Twitch Chat (Suppo):
How about communications during the project?
Streamer:
AYYYY SUPPO!! WITH THE 50 GIFTED SUBS Great to see you here man! Of course, you’re interested in the communication part of things. Communication was key for us, and we utilized a variety of platforms to keep in touch. Instagram was our go-to for quick updates, mostly for just Sir Juan and me, sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses and more important things. When we needed to have more in-depth discussions, SMS came in handy for our group chat, so we were able to share everything there. It was all about staying connected and ensuring that everyone was on the same page throughout the project.
Streamer:
Well, folks, I think that’s enough questions for now I want to thank each and every one of you who donated and provided all your fantastic questions! Now I’ma set up the Smash room so I can demolish you all eh?

That's All!... Forever?
That's it for this CCR everyone. I hope I made at least most of my descriptions and intentions clear, as the decision to keep this song is an important one. Thank you for reading! But I have to be honest I need to address this: I don't think I'm making any more films. It's just been taking up so much time, and I don't know if I can keep this up. So I think I'm going to retire, who knows? Maybe I'll come back! Maybe I won't... but you guys will. I wanted to warn you earlier but I just didn't know how, I didn't have the heart to, because I love all of you. Everyone who's been keeping up with my blogs, all of you. You're not just numbers, you're not just monetization, you're not just merch sales. What you have done for me, EVERYTHING, it's special. It's special... I just wanted to entertain the world. It didn't have to be big, it didn't have to be Hollywood, but I just wanted to make an impact, just because I was there. So, I'm gonna sign off now, and I'm going to leave into the woods, thinking about life and about what I've done. And with that, I'm going to say, for possibly the final time: That's it for this CCR Blog everyone! I hope I made at least most of my descriptions clear. Thank you for reading! And for the final time, stay cool and attractive ya'll. Peace.

The Lights
So in response to the darkness issue of the speaking scene, Juan decided to take good note of our advise and bring light to our darkness. He brought up the general brightness of the scene, and added some highlights to the scene, so that we can make out what was going on! Cause you really couldn't see a thing! While it won't really affect the viewers understanding of the film, it shows more professionalism. If you want to see what the lighting looked like before the revisions, go and check out Juan's blog!
The Subtitles
During the Japanese speaking part, one of our reviewers said that we should add subtitles. So we did! I can't believe we didn't consider this before but this is a great idea, so the viewers can take hint of what is occurring. However, by leaving the subtitles out, it will allow the viewers to better resonate with the characters since they would be equally as confused. So maybe we won't change it! But it'll be debated.

The Viewer
The viewer of our film was an incognito, magnificent man known by Juan, with a mask. Not kidding. He watched the film and was quite invested in it, every step of the way. Matter of fact, it was Juan who invited this individual to take great interest in this film.
The Result: Negative
So upon viewing this film there was an obvious problem, even I recognized. From viewing the recording footage, we decided that the lighting when Miss Vettorazzi and Abrue were speaking was horrid, and we couldn't see them. It was super dark and the shadows were very prominent. So this was a concern that I trusted Juan would fix, as he is the master tech manager. However I ensured that all the actors were able to view the scene and reviewed it themselves.
The Result: Positive
We asked more persons this time, and they enjoyed it quite a bit! Juan will post more specific quotations, but in my presence they said they liked the film, and that it was pretty cool and surprising. I loved seeing them jump at the alarm in the scene. We got lots of support! And its thanks to Juan and his amazing editing skills.

Welcome to Media TL;DR the series where I break down my greatest projects so you can easily dive in and understand my original ideas. I'm your host Jaydon Smith! And Today's topic is on editing, from my perspective.
I'm not an editor.
Look, my long-term followers know I edit. After all, you've seen my music video, and my "All-about-me" commercial! I can put things together, quite well if I'm using CapCut. However, Juan is on a whole other level. This man uses so much more software than me, giving him an advantage of choice and efficiency. And some of them are paid too! Giving him the higher quality needed to surpass my CapCut Mumbo Jumbo. So all that stuff, I'll leave it to Juan.
What he's doing
Juan is currently editing the sound upon the Cyberattacker's movements. He works in that field, using the app mentioned before: Audacity!

Filming Failures
When I say filming failures, I do not mean failures in filming. I mean whilst doing the prep work, we filmed all the mistakes we made. Thats right! Every time we dropped a curtain and made a ton of noise, it was caught on camera. The fun part (for me at least) is that you don't get to see it on my blog! You have to go and check it out on my partner Juan's. The link to his blogs are below!

Now instead, you can check out this totally awesome group picture of us! We had fun and we are all friends here
Filming Set-up
So to prepare for the Cyber Attacker Lair in Scene 2, we had to move these giant curtains, and we didn't know how to detach them at the time. So we struggled and turned and twisted until one fell down... and detached. We were very worried and concerned that we broke it. but nope! It detaches all along! And our camera got that all on camera! So make sure to check out Juan's blog!

Welcome to Media TL;DR the series where I break down my greatest projects so you can easily dive in and understand my original ideas. I'm your host Jaydon Smith! And Today's topic is on our week hiatus.
We took a break
We took a break for a few days. A week to be exact, because we didn't film the previous Sunday. Why? Because our actors were very preoccupied. Our wonderful actor Sarah Abrue is not only working with us, but with another Media Studies group! Isn't that superb hard working? I commend her for that, and she's finally back with us this following Sunday! The 4th of March.
What I did
I did not even show up to the Church, our acting grounds, that day. I was very busy with History Work, as well as my other classes. So that was definitely a nice break for me!... If I actually did meaningful work. I feel like I did a little that day because I had two appointments that day, but it is fine! A little effort is better than no effort!
